Virginia Tech Transfer Opportunities

Are you interested in applying to Virginia Tech? 

There are three opportunities for you if you are planning to apply to Virginia Tech for you to be aware of:

1. Priority Review
  •  This opportunity has an an application and receipt of transcript deadline of January 9th. There is no registration for Priority Review- prospective students only need to meet the deadline.

2. Instant Decision Day 
  • The Instant Decision Day is Friday, February 6 with an application deadline of February 1. Students must bring a copy of their transcript with them to the review. There will be applications in the Virginia Tech office. Students will register online by completing a survey ( Registration for Instant Decision Day will open on Monday,  December 1. This is a great day for students who have never visited Virginia Tech to come visit the campus.

3. Regular Review
  • Regular Review has an application deadline of February 15. Transcripts should be sent soon after this date or have already been submitted. Students will be notified of the decision by May 1 ( All students interested in the majors of Landscape Architecture and Interior Design will be reviewed during Regular Review as they are reviewed within the context of the entire applicant pool.
For any of these opportunities, Virginia Tech will be able to review your official or unofficial copy of the transcript.

Important Information about Harvard Street

Please be advised, beginning Monday, November 24, 2014 through Friday November 28, 2014 Harvard Street WILL BE CLOSED. No one will be able to gain access to Wards Road from the campus during this time.  Access to the CVCC campus will ONLY be from Wards Ferry Road.

Beginning Monday December 1, 2014 Harvard Street will be closed to ALL through traffic
Entrance and exit to the main campus will be from the following :
1        Intersection of Wards Road and Harvard Street(newly constructed roadway) into student parking lot 1 and then into remaining parking lots adjacent to buildings.
2       Access and exit to parking lots 2 and 3 will be  from Wards Ferry Road.
