Helping Every Learner Perform Workshops

There will be a series of workshops offered over the next couple of weeks on various topics. We hope you will join us. The workshops are on Tuesdays from 1-2 pm in Amherst Hall Room 2316.

April 3: Money for College. Presented by Deborah Marshall, Financial Aid Director

April 10: How Do I Use the Student Information System to Register for Classes? Presented by Kevin Riley, Counseling

April 17: All You Need to Know About Safety on the Community College Campus. Presented by Ray New, Campus Police

April 24: Test Taking Strategies and How to Reduce Test Anxiety Right before Exams. Presented by Kimberly French, Counselor

Student Ambassador Application

Do you have a desire to share your Central Virginia Community College experience with others? Have strong interpersonal, academic and organization skills? Then you want to consider becoming a CVCC Ambassador.

What does it take to become an Ambassador?
At least a 2.5 GPA, with a minimum of 6 credit hours completed at CVCC by the end of Fall 2011.
Availability to serve as an Ambassador during the following semesters: Summer 2012, Fall 2012, and Spring 2013.
