August 27th last day to add 16 week course

Today, August 27th is the last day to add a 16 week course. The Counseling Office will be open today until 5 pm. So come on in and get signed up.

2nd 8 week courses begin October 25th. The last day to add a 2nd 8 week course is October 27th.

Fall Classes

The Fall semester starts in just a couple of weeks. Please come in during our walk-in advising hours to meet with a counselor and sign up for Fall classes.

We have walk-in advising Monday-Thursday from 8-5 and Friday 8-4. We hope to see you soon!

Fall Tuition Due July 22rd!!!

Just a reminder that fall 2010 tuition is due by 5pm on Thursday, July 22nd. If tuition is not paid by this date your classes may be dropped. Students awarded financial aid should verify their award is sufficient to cover the cost of their tuition. Please log into the Student Information System using your MyCVCC account at: https://cvcc.my.vccs.edu/jsp/home.jsp to view your financial aid and account balances.
Payments may be made the following ways:

(1) Mail checks to : CVCC Accounting Office
3506 Wards Road
Lynchburg, VA 24502
**Please note student ID or name on check and we must receive by July 22nd

(2) Pay online using your MyCVCC account or by phone (434) 832-7638 with a Visa or MasterCard.

(3) Pay in person at one of CVCC’s offsite centers (Altavista, Amherst, Appomattox or Bedford) by 4pm or at our Ward Road location by 5pm on July 22nd.

2nd 5 Week Summer Session

The 2nd 5 week Summer Session started June 21.

The last day to drop a 2nd 5 week summer course is this Friday, June 25 by 12 pm. The last day to withdraw from a 2nd 5 week summer course is July 12th.

Fall Enrollment

We are currently enrolling for the Fall semester! Come meet with a counselor to get signed up for classes.

We have walk-in advising Monday-Friday from 8-5. You don't need an appointment just come on in and we will get you signed up and ready to go for the fall.

Remember Fall semester starts August 23rd.

Fall Tution Rates

The tuition rates for the fall are as follows:

In-state tuition will now be $ 111.50 per credit hour

Out-of-State tuition is $ 305.10 per credit hour

CVCC Engineering Scholarships Available

Two and single year scholarships are being awarded for Engineering students. The deadline to apply is July 1, 2010. You must be a full time student.
