CVCC Traffic Changes Due to Road Construction

CVCC Traffic Changes Due to Road Construction

CVCC students arriving for the start of classes on Wednesday August 20th will find access to campus complicated by road construction currently underway at the intersection of Harvard Street and Wards Road.

While construction is ongoing, there will be no access to the CVCC Campus from Wards Road. The only means of entering the campus will be from Wards Ferry Road.  Those individual’s utilizing the GLTC buses should board Route 6.

Traffic exiting the campus will be able to use Harvard Street to Wards Ferry Road, or there will be one lane of traffic to exit east on Harvard Street to Wards Road.  Traffic at this exit will be limited to CVCC traffic only.

The project, which includes widening Harvard Street at the Wards Road intersection and constructing a pedestrian sidewalk on Harvard Street, has a projected completion date in mid-November.
